The HSS Spiral Milling Cutter is a professional tool made of high quality high speed steel. The professional tool for routing wood with good toughness, higher edge strength and still perfect heat resistance now here in the router shop.

This HSS Spiral Milling Cutter has two spiral twisted cutting edges. A professional tool with the pulling cut in the wood.

  • HSS Drill slot cutter D10x42x80mm is right cutting, right turning and right twisted.
  • Up cut means that the chips are discharged upwards. This ensures a better surface quality on the workpiece with this professional tool!
  • HSS professional tool for milling in non-ferrous metal, wood, wood materials and plastics.

Possible applications of the twisted HSS drill slot cutters:

These HSS drill slot cutters fit in hand routers and milling machines with a tool holder for 8mm shank. These are for example machines from: Festool, Bort and Festo.  Also from Einhell, Holz-Her and Makita. This professional tool also fits into machines from Mannesmann, Bosch or Dewalt.  As well as in routers from Triton, Elu and Mafell.  Furthermore in Metabo, SKIL, Silverstorm, AEG, etc. Can also be used on all copy routers and machining centres of the brands: Anton, Elumatec, Emmegi, Haffner, Hassomat, MLA, Pertici, Presste-Eisele, Rapid, Rotox, Striffler, Taskair, Wegoma.

Drill flute cutters made of HSS are basically more suitable for "softer" materials.  For example for:

  • Wood and wood-based materials
  • Plastics
  • Aluminium, aluminium alloys with a tensile strength of up to 500 N/mm².
  • Copper zinc alloys, copper tin alloys, tensile strength up to 600 N/mm²
  • Free cutting steel, general structural steel, tensile strength up to 600 N/mm². However, steel machining requires direct and sufficient cooling.
