Here you can have your Disc + Plug Cutters sharpened and tenon cutters re-sharpened!

Disc + Plug Cutters or tenoners can be sharpened several times depending on wear. This increases the service life of these disc cutters and saves money.

The price applies to the sharpening, grinding or regrinding of one disc cutter, plug cutter or tenon cutter each with normal wear and tear without break-outs. In the case of cut-outs, the calculation for grinding is then based on the amount of work involved.

The price depends on the outside diameter of the disc cutter / plug cutter / tenon cutter. Not according to the nominal dimension or the bore!

Sharpening the tenon cutter for precision tools Wurzen is fast! As a rule, sharpening takes a maximum of 3 to 4 working days!

Information on sharpening and on the selection of the version of your tenon cutter:

  •  In the table above, select Scheibenschneider schärfen variant and the appropriate diameter if you want to have a tenon cutter made of HS, HSS or WS steel reground.
  •  Choose the variant Scheibenschneider HM - bestückt oder VHM schärfen and the suitable diameter, if we should resharpen your tungsten carbide tipped tenon cutters.
  •  If you cannot find the exact diameter of your tenon cutter, simply select the next larger diameter.

With the carbide - tipped disc cutters, especially hardwoods and some plastics can be processed well. Depending on the model, various modern tool grinding machines are available for grinding. Our experienced precision tool mechanics resharpen these tools. This guarantees highest quality and service life.
