Unfortunately, the last German manufacturer of Mortise chain sets, Wilhelm Keil Fräskettenfabrik, closed down its production in 2018. In addition to fitting knives, the Wilhelm Keil company mainly produced a large range of Mortise chain sets for chain mortisers or lock case mortisers and sold them worldwide. Today these tools are no longer available from Keil.
