60mm HSS custom profile knife with matching chip limiters

We manufacture the profile knives for your 60mm universal safety cutter head according to your specifications!

These HSS special profile knives fit into the 60 mm wide Uni profile knife head.

Each special profile knife set consists of 4 parts. We deliver 2 pieces of 60mm wide HS - forming knives and 2 pieces of matching 58mm wide profiled chip limiters according to the strict regulations of the German employers' liability insurance association.

Precisely shaped special profile knives need good templates:

We need a suitable template from you so that we can manufacture your shape-accurate shaped knives and profiled chip limiters. There are several possibilities:

1. You send us either a drawing or a sketch of the 60mm profile to be milled in wood by fax, e-mail or post. We then convert this into a machine-readable CAD file and feed it to our CNC tool grinding machine. It is important that you always draw us the profile as it should look later in the wood. This profile is depicted consumed in the profile knife, as the profile knife is installed in the knife head at an angle.
2. You can also send us the geometry data electronically. It is important that we receive a simple DXF file from you. Only the profile to be milled with only one single layer should be stored in this file. The actual profile may only consist of simple lines or radii directly connected to each other. Splines, double lines or other graphical refinements are not understood by a CNC control. It is best to send your profile again as a PDF file. Then in case of doubt we always know how the 60mm profile should look like.
3. You send us a wood sample, for example a piece of your old profile. We measure this sample exactly on our measuring machine and generate a profile file there, which we then transfer to our CNC tool grinding machines. Please send us only a narrow 1cm to 2cm wide piece. We do not need half doors or windows. Please enclose a small sketch from which we can see how the profile should be positioned in the profile knife.

As soon as we have all the necessary information, you will receive your 60mm special profile knife set within a short time.

The maximum profile depth is 27mm for a 60mm moulding knife.
