The 90mm Profile Cutter Head fits profile knives and chip limiters with the following dimensions:

• Width of profile knives: B1 = 90mm
• Width of the chip limiters: B2 = 88mm
• Maximum profile depth: H2 = 30mm
• Height of profile knives: H = 50mm
• Profile knife thickness: T = 5,5mm
• Diameter of holes: d = 6mm
• Distance between holes: a = 73mm

Product description Profile Cutter Head 90 mm:

2 identical 90mm wide profile knives are clamped into the cutter head together with the matching profiled chip limiters. For this purpose, one profile knife and one chip limiter opposite it are inserted into one of the two grooves worked into the cutter head in a tine shape. Then the supplied clamping wedge is inserted. There are three fixing screws each in the clamping wedges. When these are tightened, the clamping wedge is clamped between the profile knives and the profile knives and chip limiters are fastened. The centrifugal forces occurring during milling additionally push the clamping wedge outwards. This further increases the clamping force of the clamping wedge.

Important! Both profile knives must point in the same direction of rotation. The rake face of the profile knife always points in the middle, in the direction of the clamping wedge.

The use of profile knives with suitable profiled chip limiters limits the chip thickness of the Profile Cutter Head to 90 mm. It is low-knock and therefore suitable for manual feed. Attention: This tool must not be used without a suitable profiled 88 mm wide chip limiter.
