Solid carbide lock-case cutter 2Z upcut

Solid carbide lock-case cutter with 2 positive spiral grooved cutting edges for use in clockwise rotation, chip ejection upwards. For the production of lock-case and face plate cut-outs with stepwise feed in solid wood and board material and in plastic. Use in the chuck or adapter on the milling machine or CNC machine.

2-edged lock-case milling cutters are excellently suited when 3-edged tools chatter due to lower machine performance or deliver unsatisfactory milling results.

For the production of the tools we exclusively use high-quality finest grain carbide.

The milling cutters are equipped with 2 centre cutting edges and are suitable for drilling, ramping and circular immersion.

The working length marked AL in the second illustration is the maximum milling depth that a lock-case milling cutter can mill in one operation.

The maximum milling depth is marked with l in the illustration. This is the maximum groove depth that can be milled with this tool.

The lock-case cutter only has cutting edges in the area marked AL. Between this cutting area and the shank there is a round ground undercut. This area is designed in such a way that the milling chips are well transported upwards.
