Vacuum Table 300 x 400 mm, height 16mm for CNC milling machine

The vacuum table 300 x 400 x 16 mm is a vacuum clamping plate as accessory for the CNC milling machine or the CNC portal milling machine. This clamping plate is used to clamp various air-impermeable materials on the CNC machine table. Among other things, it can be used to fix wood, plastic, acrylic (GS and XT), polycarbonate, polyoxymethylene, aluminium or cast aluminium.

Before machining, this vacuum table is mounted on the T-slot plates on the machine table of the CNC milling machine. Then the supplied hose is connected to the connections of the vacuum clamping plate and to the connections of the connection adapter for the suction cup.

After commissioning the vacuum generator, the vacuum is distributed evenly over the entire clamping surface on the vacuum table. The workpiece is sucked in through the holes and especially through the pores of the special MDF board supplied. In order to increase the clamping force, especially when CNC milling smaller workpieces, unused areas on the vacuum clamping table can be covered with an air-impermeable milling mat or foil.

If the clamping surface is not sufficient, several of these vacuum tables can also be used in series next to each other. Vacuum tables of this series can be used as accessories on CNC milling machines, CNC milling machines and CNC portal milling machines of various manufacturers. Installation and commissioning of the vacuum tables

The vacuum table is fastened to the T-slot plate or to the machine table of the CNC milling machine by means of cylinder head screws M6 (hexagon socket head screws according to ISO 4762 or DIN 912, also known as Allen screws, are most suitable. These are not included in the delivery).

Then the supplied hose is divided into 10 parts and attached to the connections of the vacuum clamping plate and to the connections of the connection adapter for the vacuum generator. As shown in the picture.

Vacuum technology for generating negative pressure or vacuum

A vacuum generator is required to use the vacuum table. This is NOT included in the scope of delivery of this product.

The best vacuum generator is a hoover, wet vacuum cleaner or dry vacuum cleaner with a suction power of more than 1kW. However, a vacuum pump or a side channel compressor with or without control can be used just as well. Provided the pump has sufficient air capacity.
