The HSS planer knives 128 x 30 x 3 mm fit as accessories or spare parts in the surface planer EH 125/1, EH125 sold in the GDR, among others. The planer knives can be resharpened and sharpened many times, depending on their use.

Use of the HSS planer knives 128 x 30 x 3 mm

The HSS planer knives 128 x 30 x 3 mm fit into the EH 125/1 jointer plane sold in the GDR. The jointer planes EH125 were manufactured by "LEW Henningsdorf", the VEB Lokomotivbau Elektrotechnische Werke "Hans Beimler" in Hennigsdorf. This surface planer is a pure attachment as accessory for various grinding machines. Usually the EH 125/1 jointer is mounted on the left side instead of the grinding wheel.
The surface planer EH 125/1 can be attached to the various grinding machines or bench grinders made by "VEB Galvanotechnik Leipzig". This company was part of WMW Smalcalda. Therefore the grinding machines are often marked with the WMW Smalcalda mark. Among others these are:
